Using Screenshot Plus
We love the convenience of taking screenshots, but sometimes we aren’t able to easily use those captures. The Screenshot Plus widget gives you more flexibility than lots of apps on the market. There are several tasks Screenshot Plus lets you do, including:
- A full screen grab where you can capture the entire screen
- A timed full screen grab that lets you capture the entire screen at a certain moment
- Grab a Window which lets you capture a single window
- Grab a Widget which lets you capture a dashboard widget
- Drag a picture which lets you capture a portion of the screen you choose
Once you select the screenshot type you want to use from the widget, just click once with the mouse. You’ll then go to a window where you can preview the screenshot. Select from: Reject, Redo, Save to a Pre-set Location, Copy to the Clipboard, or Export to Preview. You have the ability to save Screenshot Plus images as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, or PDF formats. All of these options with a widget such as Screenshot Plus give you flexibility and control with your screenshots for the Mac.
