How to Set the Calendar on Your iPhone
You have several options for calendars on your iPhone, including iCloud, Google, Outlook, and of course the Calendar app. These next steps will help you set up your calendar so you’ll never miss another thing.
Google and Outlook Calendars
You can use your Google Calendar with either a free Gmail account or a paid Google account, or with your Outlook account. You’ll want to first make sure your account is set up on your device. To do this, follow these steps for either email account:
- Go to Settings from the Home screen.
- Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Gmail or Outlook, depending on which you want to use. You’ll be prompted to enter your information – be sure to give it a descriptive name you will easily recognize.
- Select the sync option for Calendars, as well as any other option you want to use.
- Tap Save.
iCloud Calendar
Using the iCloud calendar is another easy option and one you can access from multiple Apple devices. To access the iCloud Calendar:
- Open a web browser.
- Go to iCloud.com
- Log into your iCloud account.
- Go to the calendar option by clicking on the calendar icon.
Your Google, Outlook, and iCloud calendars are easy to sync to and access from other devices.
