No Mistaking Typo’s Intention with New iPad Keyboard
Even though you probably know Ryan Seacrest best as the host of American Idol and the American Top 40, he is also the co-founder of the technology company Typo. After experiencing his own frustrations of typos when typing on his iPhone he helped to solve that problem with a “Typo” Bluetooth keyboard. The original was for the iPhone, but now a newer model is coming out for other Apple devices.
Typo claims that this new keyboard is the thinnest Bluetooth one on the market at a skinny-mini 5.5 mm thin – yet with a full, standard size range of keys. The goal? To get rid of those pesky and unprofessional typos. The new keyboard will have a hinge stand so the user can operate it at various angles with the tablet. It also has its own battery that you will need to charge.
The expected launch date for the new Typo iPad keyboard is March of 2015 and will cost you around $179 for the tablet models. If you’re interested in the iPhone 6 model, named Typo2, it carries a tag price of $99.
Ryan Seacrest leads a busy life and says he uses his iDevices as his office – which means his office is everywhere. He wants to be able to send emails and texts – without trying to rely on autocorrect to interpret what he was thinking. Seacrest says, “I like speed. I like to respond to people quickly. I respond during commercial breaks during the show. That’s the world we live in. People know you’re available, and they expect a response from you.” And he wants that response to be without typos. If you want to keep up with Ryan Seacrest and others who are tired of typos, look for the new Typo keyboard for the iPad in March.
