Read this articleHow to Use Split Screen Effect on iPhone 6 Plus
The latest phablet from Apple, Inc. – the iPhone 6 Plus – really does start to feel more like a tablet than a phone with the new split screen effect. With a Retina display of 5.5 inches diagonally, consumers can utilize that extra space with a split screen option in apps and on the Home screen that allows them to multi-task more efficiently.
How Do I Use Split Screen?
Many users saw the split screen option advertised on the iPhone 6 Plus, but then couldn’t seem to access the feature. This is because the setting locations to access and adjust for it are not very intuitive, and can easily be overlooked during the initial set-up of the device. If you want to enable a split screen feature on your iPhone 6 Plus, follow these steps to make sure that you have selected Standard instead of Zoomed in your Settings.
- Go to your Settings App.
- Select Display & Brightness.
- Select View.
- Select Standard.
- Tap Set in the top right corner of the screen.
Your settings will now allow you to use the split screen feature in apps that support it such as Mail and Messages. Some users prefer the Zoomed setting because it makes the text larger and easier to read. If you need this accessibility but want the Standard setting that allows for split screen, you can adjust the text by going back to Settings and choosing Display & Brightness, and then sliding the Text Size option to the maximum.
